Philosophy Quiz
What philosophy do you follow? (via The Hanged Man)
My results:
I wouldn't have thought I'm that much of an existentialist. I fully agreed that we have to find our own purpose in life rather than just follow that provided by received tradition and whatnot. But surely existentialism involves other substantive claims besides that?

I realised I could have rated the questions a little differently depending on what I tok to mean the "middle point" for example if they ask me
"I always work to benefit myself above others."
it depends on if "others" is including or excluding me and how many of them there are.
"But surely existentialism involves other substantive claims besides that?" - I think you are reading a little bit too far into an online quiz. It does seem to be only talking about ethics (maybe it is just poorly named).

75 for nihilism is high, even for me, especially since it is above justice. Maybe it would have been better if there was a "this question is stupid" option.
I think all those meaning questions are the existentialism. i.e. if you think you can give meaning to life or that meaning has life. As always, I'm not at all convinced these measure much. I got put at divine command at 85% and existentialism next at 65% with justice at 60%.

It was a pretty accurate quiz. Although, it does seem that most people got existentialism.
