Scott on Vibes

Check out my little brother on the vibraphone!

(1) 'Midnight star' really shows off the subtlety of the instrument -- it's quite magical-sounding in places:



(2) 'Rhumbata' by Chick Corea and Gary Burton is fun and jazzy. (I especially like the sections from about 5:30 - 7:30 or so.)



(He's also got a new marimba piece up here, but it's hard to beat Attendance to Ritual!)

    Your philosophy's excellent but this is easily the best thing that's ever been posted here! (Alas, music is more powerful and more interesting than even the best thought, I think.) Props to your little bro, vibes maestro!
